Attorney Guo Qing Luan

Attorney Luan is a partner of Donghai Law Office, and serves as the firm's Vice Chair. He possesses the official title of mid-level lawyer, and is a government certified legal advisor.

Attorney Luan serves as the top legal advisor for the Special First-Tier National Construction Enterprise, and is an assistant instructor in that enterprise's training unit. Attorney Luan is also an arbitrator-member of the Shanghai Arbitration Association.

Attorney Luan has served as a government police crime investigator, assistant attorney general, and judge in the Peoples Court. He has received honors from the Communist Party and municipal government trial personnel for his outstanding service. Mr. Luan is currently a member of the Shanghai Government-Owned Enterprise Reform Legal Services Group, as well as a member of the Chinese Communist party.

Attorney Luan has practiced law since 1981. In his many years of work in the political and legal system and practice of law, Attorney Luan has developed and in-depth legal knowledge and real-world experience into the complex and ever changing legal landscape of China. The combination of practical and specialized skills and experience has enabled him to adroitly resolve his client's real-world problems. In more than twenty years of practice, Attorney Luan has represented clients in more than a thousand cases in civil, economic, contract, and criminal cases. Many cases have involved over ten million yuan. Attorney Luan also represents enterprises in bankruptcy, mergers and acquisitions, business registration, annual audits, and in participating in construction biddings.

His cases have been selected and submitted by the Shanghai High People's Court to the Editor in Chief, to be published as precedents in the 2nd edition of the 2002 People's Supreme Court Case Reporter. His cases have also been cited as precedent by former Assistant Chief Justice Ming Shan Zhu and Editor in Chief of the China Legal System Publishers in the August 2003 publication, "Precedent Cases and Applicable Law."



Attorney Da Yuan Jiang

Attorney Jiang is one of the founders of Donghai Law Office.

Attorney Jiang has served as legal advisor for many companies. Mr. Jiang has extensive experience in the handling of a variety of economic disputes and matters: corporate governance, mergers and acquisitions, reorganizations, various types of difficult enterprise debt workouts, construction and real estate dispute cases, commercial trade dispute cases, various civil dispute cases, as well as criminal cases.

After working in other parts of China, Attorney Jiang returned Shanghai where he studied law at Huadong Political and Law Institute, graduating with high honors in 1986. Mr. Jiang then went on to graduate studies in sociology at Shanghai University.

In his more-than-20-year practice, Mr. Jiang has demonstrated a sincere, steadfast, approach to his work, with scrupulous attention to detail, daring to overcome difficulties.
